DIY | Father's Day Picture Gift Box

I'm one of those people who loves gifts that are personalised and have meaning to it, so with Father's Day coming up, I thought I'd share with you an amazing gift box idea. The initial shape was downloaded from Homemade Gifts Made Easy but with the help of Illustrator and Photoshop, I have customised the template to fit a specific size. If you don't have the software, you can draw the shape out to size and scan it in, or use Template Maker where you can input your measurements. To save ink, make sure you print a template outline to be sure it fits. It has taken me many tries, and I got to the point of wanting to buy a smaller present just to fix the box! You can use any sort of images or designs to decorate the box, but my dad loves looking at old photographs so I have used baby photographs of my sister and I. I think it's a nice way to make a gift that extra special and personal.
Let me know in the comments below what you would decorate your dad's box with.
