bath body shower skincare boots products

With the 3 for 2 offer on skin products and finding out I had £27 saved up on my boots advantage card, I had no excuse not to treat myself. I thought I'd spoil myself with some new skin and body care products, none of which I have used before. I always love trying and testing new products, so this is more like a challenge for me to see how well I have picked them. I'll be reviewing each item in more detail as I use them, so make sure you're following me on social media to keep updated.

sanctuary spa bath and body

I bought the Sanctuary Spa Body Butter for my Mum for her birthday and I just remember the smell and thinking oh my god I need this in my life. Ingredients include butters from cocoa and shea, oil from macadamia nuts and sweet almonds as well as vitamin E; which all just sounds so luxurious and nourishing... I'm so excited to try this! I'm one of those weird people who likes to match their body cream to their body wash, so I have picked up the Sanctuary Spa Body Wash. It's got oils and spices to cleanse and condition the body, but also sesame oil and jojoba to help leave the skin silky and soft. You can actually see little orange dots in the wash which are the moisturising capsules. The smell is very similar to the body cream, (the body cream smells creamier, obviously) so they will compliment each other well. I'm always trying new body scrubs and while I was looking at the minis in Boots, I found the Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub. It was in a sachet and I could feel how concentrated the scrub was with the salt and as it was 3 for 2, I instead bought the full size in the lovely jar. I think this is my favourite buy and most promising.

I'm adding these 7 skincare products to my basket! #bbloggers

nip and fab avene biore soap and glory skincare

I've been looking for a new face cleaner so I've picked up the Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Cleanser. It's got glycolic acid in it which is a natural exfoliant and helps remove dead skin cells and retexture your skin. It's also got apple amino acids which provide foaming and softening, and olive oil which gives long-lasting hydration and smoothness. It's got a really nice grapefruity smell and looks like it's going to do wonders for my skin. As I do have oily skin, I always feel like face creams make my skin feel oilier and heavy, so I found Avene Cleanance K Cream-gel. It "cleanses the pores in depth thereby encouraging the elimination of spots, blackheads and blemishes" and suited for oily skin. I'm always hearing great reviews about Avene products so I'm hoping this is as great as it sounds. After using my Soap and Glory face mark (you can read the review here) and releasing how clean it was making my nose, I thought I'd pick up these Bioré® Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips to give me a more intense clean. I bought the ultra deep cleaning pack instead of the original pack as these clean twice as much and have witch hazel and tea tree oil, which is soothing for the skin. I bought this Soap & Glory™ A Brush with Greatness as I thought it would be good to help cleanse and exfoliate my face. It's got two different types of brushes, the bristle side for cleaning and pink brush to stimulate circulation. This looks like the ideal product to work along side my Nip + Fab cleanser.
