Last week was my 24th birthday so I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite gifts. I'm 99% sure that every wishlist post I have ever done includes a Zara bag, and I finally got one! It's a buckled mini city bag in a mustard colour. I hate having bags where everything is just thrown in, and the city bag is just filled with compartments so I can keep everything organised, plus, this new design has a front pouch which I love. Not sure if I've mentioned before, but I have a strange dislike to purses. Unlike with bags, I hate having a purse with too many compartments, as I get to the tills and I can't find anything and the cashier is just glaring at me, it just stresses me out! To help me overcome this "issue", I got given this gorgeous duck egg blue purse from Accessorize. Inside there is a part for your cards and the rest is for your money; I will now have very calm shopping experiences. The pink book is a limited edition from Fashionary. I literally can't hold back from wanting every new book they produce, you can never have too many sketchbooks can you?

You would think one bag is enough, but not for Aycan. The burgundy box backpack is from New Look, and I just love the shape and the zip detailing. I've got to admit, I'm not really into dark colours, but I am completely loving it for the fall. As I am loving burgundy so much (they unintentionally match the bag), I got these cut out boot from River Island. I love the chunky gold buckle and gold trim around the heel; they are very different from the usual black boots I buy for winter.

A birthday wouldn't be the same without a new product to try from Lush, and I got two soaps; Sexy Peel, which has a very citrusy scent, and Porridge, which has a very uplifting oaty scent. I'm so excited to try these and I'll definitely be doing a few reviews so keep a look out for those. The candle is a Yankee Candle in Black Cherry and it smells beautiful. I love anything cherry/almond related and once lit, the scent isn't too overpowering but enough to fill the room.

The nail paints are Chai and Mustard from the gelly collection by Barry M. The two colours are huge this winter and are very different to the usual nail paint colours I wear, look at me turning 24 and broadening my colour palette. I am totally in love with this bracelet! It's in a buckle bracelet style with a silver glitter band, and is just a great piece to adorn my wrist.
