It's time to dust off your cd walkman, because we're going back to the 1990s.

From as young as I can remember, I have always been listening to and loving music. The majority of the 90s for me was spent buying the latest copy of 'Top Of The Pops' magazine, and getting up early on Saturdays, and jumping in front of the television waiting for my favourite pop stars to show on SMTV Live and CD:UK. A part of me slightly dreamed I would one day become a popstar, so I would make up dance routines and teach them to my friends in the playground and spend hours reading over and learning the lyrics from every single CD I owned. There was always a lot of sound coming from my bedroom.

I also remember dragging my mum to Woolworths after school on Mondays so I could buy all the new CDs, because I HAD to have it first. The dedication was just top-notch. A little embarrassing story I'm going to share with you is when I was younger, I thought you had to buy 40 copies of a single to make it number 1, because it was the top 40, so you know... you probably don't know.

I was going to do your typical cheesy pop 90s playlist, but that has been done thousands of times before. Instead, I have merged together a playlist; songs I loved to listen to back in the 90s, and 90s songs you'll catch me listening to now. Back in the day, I was really into my chart pop and artists like Steps, S Club 7, and A1. They always had catchy songs, and music very easy to make dance routines to. Nowadays I listen to all genres of music, and classic 90s songs always pop up from time to time. Songs I didn't even realise I knew until I heard them back.
